They have a really cool atmosphere with good food. They encourage you to write on whatever, leaving your mark on the place! Reuben was really good, but to get a different side is extra! (We weren't told, so be aware if you go)

We went to the Tattooed Moose because it was featured on DDD. Food was delicious but pricey. Tried the pimento cheese, duck fat fries with duck gravy, smoked chicken salad BLT with cajun pork rinds, and duck confit club sandwich. Small, casual place with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a small stage but nothing going on when we were there.

Depending on what time of day you want to get your group together is whether or not you're going to get a reservation. If you do get one, however, have everyone gather outside or on the street and go in together. Showing up sporadically over a 30-minute period costs them money and they would be much happier to have the group come in, on time, and not be there all night. It is a very busy place at certain times of day.
Yes indeed. I know there are welcome outside on the patio area. Definitely a cool place to eat. I've been many times over the years.

Tables are pretty well distanced inside and masks work correctly by all staff- seemed pretty compliant and safe to me.
No, but they're willing to make anything without bread or even as a salad. If you have celiacs, the fryers and cutting boards are in contact with gluten-containing foods.
