Fantastic atmosphere and equally fantastic cuisine

Took 2 guests from Pennsylvania & Boston to Husk last night. The food was phenomenal and service was great. I've been once before but this was truly a "chef's table!" Highly recommended.

I am so upset how sub-par the experience was here. We came from out of town and everyone told us we had to go here. We made reservations well in advance and stopped for drinks and Doars Bros cocktail lounge before (highly recommend). When we told the bartender we were going to husk he said it isn't the same anymore. He must have been right. Food was terrible. service was above average but the food and cocktails were under whelming. Oysters in particular were so bad I had to spit them out in my napkin and oysters are my absolute favorite. Something must have changed. We ate there 9/9/2022

Steak tartare on crispy deviled eggs were delicious! So was the Chicken and waffles. Service not bad, not great.

You'd be good with that. Not quite white cloth.
They do not have any parking. Very little on-street parking. However, there is a city garage across the street.
I wouldn't ever order food from husk To go... Find a way to eat in there.
You will enjoy it more without a child.
Yes, they have a combo gift card available for use at Husk, Husk Nashville, McCrady and Minero. A fantasic value for the three top restaurants in Charleston.
Just went earlier this week. You can grab a seat at the bar but if there is a line they'll have you wait outside. I think they were only letting like 4 to 5 folks in at a time.
No. 2 parts to Husk. The bar and the restaurant. You may want to dress nice for the restaurant but its not mandatory.
I work there. We have recently extended our books on opentable to 6 months in advance.
Yes
No, I don't believe you can.
When we were there last month the staff was very good about being masked and the tables were spaced out according to guidelines.
I believe so, but would call ahead to confirm specific availability or any additional food allergies.
Yes, request the need during reservation
It is kid friendly if kid is friendly. I was there with my 4yr old son, would go there again with him, wish he was 24 though, would enjoy drinking bourbon with him.
I'd say you probably can't go in wearing a bathing suit, but if you have normal dining attire like a poll/button down, pants and shoes you should be fine. My guess is nice shorts would be fine too.
If you're going with a group, you'll want reservations. If you're going by yourself, I would think a seat would be open at that time.
Yes, $25 is the fee.
Im not qualified to answer this question as i do not work for Husk. I merely left a review
I asked if the chef could make a vegetarian entre. Finer restaurants usually do. Sometimes they bring out something lame and uninspired. But at Husk... it was delicious. And HUGE. 4 separate dishes. One with vegetables in a dill broth - Divine. One with apples and fall flavors, one roasted and smoky flavoured. One was a kind of grain bowl. Definitely my favorite vegetarian dinner so far in Charleston!
There is a large public parking garage across the street and down 1/2 block.
There is a full bar along the side. It alone is the size of a small restaurant. It does sell limited food.
