Catalyst Recording, run by the amazing Rob Tavaglione, is easily the best studio I have had the pleasure of working in over 30 years making music, and I've been a customer of Rob's for over 13 years and counting. I have recorded with Rob both in the studio in person and used his mixing and mastering expertise remotely while living abroad in Europe, and always get the same superior experience, service, and results for an outstanding price! Not only does Rob have an impeccable ear and broad range of expertise, but his stellar levels of customer service and personal care are completely unmatched in the music industry. At a time when most musicians are struggling to recover from years of covid and a bad economy, Catalyst Music is THE place to get the absolute best experience for your hard-earned money. If you want it done by an award-winning professional who is still grounded and doing it for the love of music, Catalyst Studios is your best choice, hands down! You will not believe how great Rob can make you sound...

I have recorded multiple times at Catalyst and always get top results. Rob is knowledgeable, very professional and fun to work with. He knows how to keep the workflow moving smoothly while being responsive to the musician’s creative process. There are other good studios in Charlotte but Catalyst has a winning combination of high quality results, top notch equipment and a friendly. comfortable, no-pressure vibe.

If you're talking about just vocals, one song usually only takes between two and three hours depending on complexity (to import your beat, overdub vox, edit, tune and mix). About the same thing if you're a singer/songwriter. For a full band that is too hard to estimate without more info. Thanks for your interest!
For just vocals? An easy song can take as little as two hours (to import the beat, overdub, edit, tune and mix) ... a hard song can take much more, so rehearse till you've got it down pat. Thanks for asking!
