No they arent. I recently went for help with bills. And nothing.
Im sure they will assist you in finding lodging. If I Lawrenceville area their co-op will give you a hotel 4 a week.
Sorry sweetie im not sure but I know of a location in Conyers if you don't mind the drive. You pay 10.00 and you leave with 75.00 of groceries if not more. Xtra mile ministry. Im thankful for Duluth co-op...but they are too tight on some things. They receive it free to give it freely like Jesus did as much as folks need it. Again I was told when my food stamps started they can't help me. But 5 kids and a grandson how much is 350.00 gonna buy? I got a federal and state job and I still need help. So I make the drive to Conyers. It's worth it. I went this morning. 2 big black trash bags of food and 5 loafs of raisin bread 5 loafs of regular bread wheat and white. 3 7grain loafs 12 pick juices Snapple. 2 big juices. So much stuff. The kids are gone all day every day so they are eating. Keep praying and let Jehovah handle the rest.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We work with Lawrenceville First Baptist Church's clothing ministry as a partner in our community. You can find more information at: http://lawrencevillefirst.org/city/clothing-mission If you cannot get the donations over to them, please feel free to bring them to us and we will get them over there. Thanks and God Bless!
You should go to the cooperative in Duluth. https://duluthco-op.org/
No, but they may be able to provide you with some resources or a list of shelters.
Cheryl - We just usually pass along information about organizations that might be able to help with that. Right now, the only one I know of is the United Way with their VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program. Information can be found at: https://www.unitedwayatlanta.org/program/vita/?_cldee=bGF3cmVuY2V2aWxsZWNvb3BAZ21haWwuY29t&recipientid=contact-0be937a602ade71180c900505693361c-b9496b8be248466a8af0674140171930&utm_source=ClickDimensions&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=VITA%20Program&esid=14234f66-8246-ea11-80f8-00505693361c
We are primarily a food bank. We want to make sure that in a time of crisis, no one has to worry about having food. We then encourage our clients to use the money they can save to put towards rent, utilities, etc... We can sometimes help with the last $100 of a utility bill. You will need to bring your bill with your name and a Lawrenceville or Dacula address and also show us that you have the ability to pay the amount of the bill that is over $100 (either a Cashiers Check, Cash, or something from the utility showing that the amount owed is down to $100.
Anthony - We are primarily a food bank and can definitely help with that. Our budget for any kind of shelter is limited and I cannot guarantee any kind of help over the internet. We can sometimes help in certain situations and have two requirements; 1) That you have verifiable proof that you have been a resident of Lawrenceville or Dacula for the last 90 days and 2) You have verifiable income ($350/wk) or a verifiable plan for housing so that you can either afford to stay at the hotel have a place to go.
We are open Monday Evenings 6-7:30pm, Wednesday/Friday 10am - 1:30pm and Saturday 10-11:30am. Blessings!
I have scoured the internet and called every organization if you don't have family or substance abuse no help. I am single looking for a place until my pay starts coming in. I will go back I was told once I get my 1st check to come back. I pray the street is not before that. But thank you.
Yes, they are open for food weds
I think they only help with utility bills and rent.
They are open 6 to 7:30 on Mondays
Hannah - We are primarily a food bank. We can sometimes help with utilities and medicine. We can sometimes look at something like this depending on how much it is. I would suggest you come in and talk with us. You will need to bring a picture ID and a piece of mail with your name and Lawrenceville or Dacula address dated within the last 30 days and we will see how we can best help you. Blessings!
Try salvation army
Katherine - you need to have an address in Lawrenceville or Dacula. If you live in another area of Gwinnett County, there are other Co-Ops that will serve you. You would need to come in at a time we are open and bring with you a picture ID of you and any other adults living at your location, and a piece of mail that has your name and address that is dated within the last 30 days.
Thanks but we only take food donations here.
Thanks for the question. We invite you to come out to our next volunteer orientation (Thursday, August 16 - 7pm at our current location - 52 Gwinnett Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). At this time, you will learn more about what we do and ways to get involved.
Hannah - Glad so many folks were able to help you out. Yes, we are open on Saturdays for "Food Only" help from 10-11:30am. Getting there a bit early is not a bad idea! Blessings to you!
The next volunteer training is August 16, 7pm, at 52 Gwinnett Drive. Training is required. Training dates are listed on the website.
They will take the buns and meat as long as wrapped in original packaging
Correct - currently the move is expected to happen in June. Lots of red tape and details.

We are strictly a food bank. You can come get help with food and use the money you save to help with other expenses. You can call the Gwinnett Help Line to find out other resources that might be able to help with Utilities and Rent. God Bless
