fist night i was there i was called in to the office told that i was being inappropriate because a guy i told to leave me alone went and told staff that i was showing nude pictures of myself(i wasn't) had many problems with this person to the point he kept trying to get in fights with my partner second day i was there i was threated by another person for getting clothing out of my suit case (they made multiple excuses for her saying she was ill and didn't know what she was doing) i ended up getting stuck somewhere away from the shelter and called to tell them that the car broke down and me and my bf wouldn't be able to make it back that night and i came back the next day and my bedding which i bought including pillows comforter and sheets were put in to donation pile even though they knew it was mine i came out as trans and was treated differently by staff and other members including being sexualized because i cut my hair shorter and was atl because a worker told us we could go out and we had asked multiple time if it was okay if we were going to loose our spot we comeback the next day and get told that we gave up our spot when we left absolutely horrible this was around October/November

Tamara friese... Toress was my home foe 11 months.. Sooo. Greatfull. I got a job after 5 months. As Toress Ihss provider for two guest.. Then 6 months later they helped my roomates a apt... Ome roomy is my boyfriend. Ross Miccio.. He and i beczme bff's.. All of staff. Amd case managers are blessings!!! Like a family. Also miss alot of others... They have a women's dorm and a men's dorm. You need to call before going there to make sure there is room. It saves you from going there and not being able to get in because its full. Also you need to be able to test clean and they give you a breathelizer. I feel blessed to have a safe place there.
As far as I know as long as your pooch is a certified service animal then yes they will let him/her stay with you. Not sure if not though. As far as availability they can take you now, just gotta give them a call and they'll set up an intake.

It is 24 hour however, they only allow check in between 4pm to 6 pm earliest possible check in is 2 PM. Curfew is 6pm unless otherwise agreed upon. The 24 hours just means that someone is not required to leave in the morning they can stay all day if they choose. Anyone can stay there no matter their county, however they have been at capacity lately I think they have 3 beds in their overflow available as of last night. So my recommendation would be to call for availability. For getting there, 211 in butte county is providing Lyft rides for free to people displaced from the fire, the call just needs to be made from a case worker.
