Price for gas on there sign is advertised severely lower than the price at the pumps.

On August 31, 2021 my friend went to the King George, VA Location around 2:10pm to purchase gas. The system was down. He went inside to the cashier and paid $44.00 on pump number 12, by handing two twenty dollars bills and four one dollar bills to the Caucasian cashier which she accepted. He proceeded to his vehicle and began to pump the gas. Suddenly the pump stopped at $24.00. He than went inside to inform the same cashier that the pump stopped at $24.00 which was $20.00 short of the cash he paid, which was $44.00, she stated “ you only gave me $24.00 “. Again, he told her no, I gave you $44.00, two twenty dollar bills and four one dollar bills. She said again, no you gave me $24.00, one twenty and four ones. She said she checked the cameras and could not hear or see the actual transaction. She then counted her drawer twice and said she did not find an overage. He is 100% certain he gave her $44.00, two twenty dollar bills and four one dollar bills and feels he was cheated and scammed due to the system being down where there could be no digital proof of the cash he handed this cashier. This is unacceptable! And he will never stop there again. Please be aware of this location.
