Highly recommended. My late Mother, Father, late Mother in law, late wife, current wife, and I were and are patients of Doctor Dominguez. I can’t speak highly enough of Doctor Dominguez. A wonderful doctor, very knowledgeable, caring, and goes the extra mile. I’ve seen other physicians at SVFM when Doctor D was on vacation or when I needed to see a specialist. I’m very happy with the full staff, from check in, scheduling, blood tech’s, and x-ray tech. I’ve read some other the other reviews, I just don’t get it. I’ve been going to SVFM for over 15 years and could not be happier.

I wouldn't take a DOG here to get its nails trimmed. Absolute WORST! Arrived at 3:44 for a 3:40 appointment, and I couldn't be seen because of their "strict on-time policy." Mind you, they have had NO problem leaving me in the exam room for a minumum 45 minute wait each time.. I live 35-50 minutes away depending on traffic, and have to pick my kids up from the bus at 3:15, asking for four minutes past appointment time is certainly not asking for much.. but thanks for wasting my gas and time. They could have just checked me in, but no-i had to drive home without the prenatal appointment that I so badly needed. I made an appointment elsewhere that day, and it was a good thing I did, because I had a pregnancy related complication, but thankfully it was pretty minor. The worst part about this was that I was having sharp belly pain the entire day, and really looking forward to getting checked out, but when I told them this they just said “sorry, we have a strict on time policy.” (4 minutes late!!) I really think it's only a matter of time before this place gets sued. Needless to say, I will not be back.

Fred, no offense, but that then clogs up the line for pregnant women who typically need quick assistance, like myself. That is a little bit inconsiderate of you to suggest.

Ascension | Sep 23, 2021

If you think your child has RSV or bronchiolitis, it is important to keep your child hydrated and monitor for fever or shortness of breath. Contact your child’s doctor, who can test for RSV and provide recommendations to keep your child safe at home. If your child’s health situation is serious or life-threatening, go to the nearest ER or call 911.

What are the symptoms of RSV?

Ascension | Sep 23, 2021
Ascension | Sep 23, 2021

Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, may appear like a bad cold to adults. For infants or young children, RSV can cause bronchiolitis -- a virus which causes swelling and an increase in mucus in the airway. This can cause difficulty breathing through their nose and eventually dehydration due to difficulty latching to the breast or bottle for infants. Other symptoms of RSV may include a fever or a very wet sounding cough, which can turn into coughing fits. Those coughing fits can cause a child to gag and potentially vomit.

Is there an e-mail address for patients who attend this clinic?

Not one that can be reached from outside. What they have is called a patient portal that is used by the patient to communicate with his doctors. And vice versa. This system is accessed only through the hospital website.
