I would give this a 5 star if it were only based on the food. However, the staff and the layout of the place were a lot left to be desired. Our waitress seemed nice enough only we didnt see her but twice. The girl that brought us our food appeared to be half asleep or really bored. Either way she was far less than enthusiastic with job and wanted everyone to know it.

I love some Laurie's Kitchen!!! Everything we ordered was excellent. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great service, very fast, and friendly.

My first, last, and only time at Laurie's Kitchen was this morning. I was seated alone at a very long table, although many other tables were available as the restaurant was only half full. I ordered, pancakes, smoked sausage and two eggs over easy. It took 27 minutes to get my food. During these 27 minutes another gentleman was seated across this narrow table one seat away from me. More than half the seats in the place were empty but that's where they sat him. His name was John and he smelled putrid. Some people don't and some people cannot wash. I don't know his reasons but he had horrible body odor. The waitress began giving him a neck and back massage and he groaned enthusiastically. It was one of those surreal moments in life that proves truth is stranger than fiction. When my food arrived the eggs were stone cold, the pancakes were too. I couldn't even cut the pancake as it was tougher than a boot. The smoked sausage had great flavor but was burned black and served cold. I tasted all three items, put cash on the table and fled the horrible odor, the ridiculous server/masseuse and the rancid smelling older gentleman who had been seated so close to me. So yourself a favor and AVOID LAURIE'S KITCHEN/MASSAGE PARLOR!

Stopped in over the lunch hour for the fried chicken. Loved the very small-town diner vibe and the owner was there working along with her small staff. There were a handful of diners that were obviously regulars, which was great to see that kind of familiarity. Service was great. The food was delicious in that small town diner way that leaves you content and full but not miserably stuffed. Prices were really reasonable as well. Great little spot for a bite!

I go there regularly and it is a great place in my opinion. Food is still really good and service is good.
