There is New ownership, New mattresses, no bed bugs now, place has been renovated and it's a better place to stay now then it was. It seems clean, and has friendly staff, not bad on price either. Hopefully if you read the reviews, this will help clarify some of the older comments.

We stayed in a room just renovated and it was a lovely room. It had everything you’d need in a room. Great water pressure. The price was great. The staff was friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Thank you very much to everyone at The Rustic Inn Blue Ridge Georgia. Y'all have been very kind to us on our visit. I have stayed at many hotels and never had employees as kind and assistant. They took our luggage to the room and actually held my precious friend as she was walking to the room so she would not fall. They did not expect any kind of tip they just was very kind. When we came back from visiting the town. They were right there to help us to our room. I've never had any one treat me so kindly while visiting a hotel. The room was very nice and clean, I could not believe the big sick towels they had. I highly recommend anyone that wants to come to Blue Ridge Mountains, very reasonable. On my return visit this year 2022 I will be staying here at The Rustic Inn. God bless us everyone that was very cordial and accommodating. Let's start with the cons: it's a budget hotel room. It's not very big or fancy, and it clearly shows signs of renovation. However, the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker - and the staff were wonderful and friendly. I would mention, though, that the lobby is open 9am-9pm, so you may need to call for assistance if you get there later - booking.com reports their check-in times as 3pm-12am.
