Lake is open, i would suggest getting there by 7am, especially on the weekends, because once parking lot is full its basically closed unless you wanna walk a mile

Its no swimming anymore the lake is closed. Closed right after labor day. You can bbq and enjoy rhe park and its free to enter now.

When the lake closes they clear the beach and lock the gates at the top of the beach. This also closes the ladies restroom/shower area. There is another restroom across the traffic circle, but it has no showers.
