Campground was well maintained but the sites are not shaded at all. If you're going in the summer, make sure your A/C is working. The campground offers amenities for the kids, unfortunately the swimming pool was in need of repair and not open during my stay. My warning would be that they charge a per day resort fee per person, making this an expensive campground. KOA's are much cheaper and offer similar amenities. For 3 people, I paid over $100 a night for a full hook up.

just arrived back home after spending three days at this campground. After a friend recommending it, we decided to give it a try. Being a weekday at the beginning of June it was not very busy and quiet. The employees are very helpful and courteous. Hats off to Meiyah for going above and beyond for making our stay memorable. Of course with the labor shortage (and all business are suffering as well) a few things were not available or on reduced hours however that was not an issue for me. The grounds are kept clean and maintained, sites are spacious and well cleaned. again cant say enough about the staff as they are the ones who made the stay pleasant, Looking forward to our next stay. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!

We stayed here over memorial weekend. We weren't exactly impressed with the new owners. We checked in on Friday and left on Tuesday. The grass on our site was overgrown, we asked a couple of times if someone could come by and cut it, no one ever did. The campground in general needs attention, the flower beds were full of weeds, the front gate was missing an arm, the showers had no hot water. The pool was closed during our stay. They did offer the inflatables on the lake for free, which is nice but not the same as relaxing in the pool. The Ranger station was not organized at all. It was almost like the holiday weekend snuck up on them and they weren't ready. On a positive note the employees in the Ranger station were pleasant. For the amount of money the rates have been raised we were expecting more. Pretty disappointing.

This is our second season back, we love this park so much! The park is experiencing staff shortages, like all businesses right now. I cannot express how WONDERFUL the staff is and how accommodating they were to us. Meiyah was INCREDIBLE, she was more than helpful. She is alone is the reason we will return. I know many have left very poor reviews and I understand owner change is always a challenge. The park is still amazing and they are adding many new things for the kids and campers. I have all the faith this park will continue to be amazing. Like anything it just needs to time to get the kinks worked out. The pricing has changed a bit, my suggestion to anyone looking to stay here, book early! They have changed their pricing to dynamic pricing like many parks have. So the last min bookings cost more and the busier the park the more it will cost. So book EARLY to help to avoid the price hikes people are complaining about! Love the staff so much. I can over look little things like some grass because the staff was so awesome! Will definitely return and bring friends!

Yes
$ 15 per day
Absolutely.... but I believe the price is just a bit more than for a guest of a camper. Probably the cost is about $17 maybe $17.50. Again not totally sure but they offer a discount for our young at heart, senior citizens. Seniors are free for visiting and 50% off for overnight.
Opens Friday of Memorial Day weekend every year, weather permitting i.e. lightning it will be closed. I think it's only open on weekends until the middle of June. Then its open everyday till LABOR day. After Labor day the pool might be open on weekends till about the end of September I think. I would call to verify that.
Yes I think they have rentals for their lake. But try a paddle boat for more fun. And you get your daily workout.
U should contact them through the websites email address
If you put in the days you are wanting to go it will show you what campsites are available and the pricing. As for trying to call and get a hold of someone...they are very busy and short handed is what I have heard. You might have to call a few times in order to get ahold of someone. But they are open.
Yes you can. As long as you took care of a reservation when the office is open they will leave a welcome packet inside the first entrance doors for you. Come on and camp with us, we would love to have you there.
Hi Dawn! Our rates differ depending on the type of campsite and the time period you would like to book. Our pricing is available on our website or one of our staff members would be happy to help and answer any questions you may have if you call in to 810-622-0110.
Yes they do
There is a link to an RV renting website on their website I believe. But they personally do not rent them out. They do rent out golf carts for people while they are camping. I suggest doing that ahead of time as they do go fast!
They announced that they sold to Yogi Bear this month.
They have sinks with running water, a prep area, and charcoal grills.
Hi Joda, Sorry we do not allow any gas or electric motors on our Lake Thanks for checking. We do have paddle boats, Canoes, Row Boat and Kyaks
Pretty big. I'd say at least 50 feet wide by about 130 feet long. You might be able to see it from a satellite view on Google. Has a nice fence all around it. It's very nice.
As Shayna noted and is correct.... check in is 3pm and the time for check out is 1pm Note: Cabins are different, check in is 4pm and checkout is 11am.
Pets are allowed as long as they are friendly and not aggressive. I believe they only charge for pets when renting a rustic cabin. It's $5 per night. The max charge is $25. So if you stay 7 nights it appears you will only be charged for 5 of those days. Apparently there is NO charge for pets at a campsite. Note: Only certain cabins allow pets and are limited. They definitely will not allow pets of any kind in their deluxe cabins of which currently they only have three. I also think there is a limit of two pets per campsite or cabin. They do require pets (dogs) to be on a leash (cats on a leash are just too funny) and kept quiet within reason out of courtesy to other people or campers. (No mountain lions or cougars but any one named Bob can have a cat, thus it would be Bob's cat) 🤣
Dogs are cool and are welcome but according to their policy, are not allowed in any building, i.e. restroom, store, clubhouse, are not allowed on the concrete area in front of clubhouse/pool area. Dogs trained for sight/physically impaired are allowed in buildings as noted in the federal ADA law. They must be on a leash when not at your site. Must be friendly and quiet. They have a very nice doggy park. Curb your dog or in other words, clean-up the doo doo.
For kids they have self propelled carts. For adults they have golf carts to rent. They don't want kids driving golf carts for everyone's safety, there are many campers, young and old walking around. You probably should reserve as far ahead as possible, on holiday weekends they go usually run put. But don't miss their new water park or splash area. Also you can rent, I believe, paddle boats and either a canoe or row boat.
90 to 100 for rustic cabins and 215 for deluxe cabins. All prices are per night. And on holiday weekends as a 3-day minimum rental
I believe they open the third weekend in April each year and close the third WEEKEND in October. NOTE .. The brand new water park with slides is now open. Opening on Friday of memorial day weekend. Just on weekends till middle of June then open daily. The pool is heated, so the water is not freezing so to speak but it is not like a sauna.
