Great place to stay right on the Cape. Some of the campsites are close with little blocking between sites, not very private.

Awesome campground! Visited over labor day weekend with the kids and friends and it was a great time! The layout of their sites are perfect so having kids running from one site to another isn't a problem. We didn't have to worry about traffic since most sites are on their own dead end dirt road. You also get free admission to two different beaches (parking included) for staying here which was an awesome perk!

We just got back from 9 nights at this campground and we enjoyed it. The only issue we had is they could use to clean the actual toilets and showers, some water, cleaner and wiping them down would go a long way. But otherwise everyone was very helpful and nice at check in to show us were we were going. The site we had was very nice and private with trees in between sites and decent size for my 24 foot camper.

No, but Scusset Beach entry is free with your Shawme Crowell camping tag.
Yes; but you should call to notify them ahead of time.
Yes
They had the pump out station closed last Wednesday. Not sure about weekends.
Yes they are.
They only have male and female bathrooms, but I had no problem while using the female bathroom and showers. I was there for a whole week and had no issues whatsoever. So although they don't state that they're gender neutral on signs, we can use whatever correlates with with our gender identity.
People ride dirt bikes behind the Sandwich carwash. Wareham MX is great place to ride.

$17 for MA residents. $27 for out of state. It's a beautiful spot.
5 minute drive to the town beach. Salt water creak and open ocean front. Really a great place. The boardwalk itself is worth a trip. Google sandwich beach boardwalk.
There are no hookups - there are freshwater taps throughout the campground loops, & Restrooms designated for each loop. This is more of a tent camping campground, rather than an RV or trailer resort.
No, there aren't any ponds in the park; but there are ponds nearby, both for swimming & for fishing.
Scusset beach in Sandwich. It's actually right over the bridge on the mainland side but it has restrooms/showers and concession stand. It's also right along the Cape Cod Canal. It's less than a 10 minute drive from Shawme. There are other nice beaches around but I think Scusset will be your best bet with kids and there is more to keep them entertained.
Every section of the campground has a bath house and they do a decent job at keeping them clean.
No, but there is always some a-hole with a generator. Just stay home if you can't go without TV and A/C for a week!
I believe the park shuts down around Columbus Day.
