By far the worst experience I've had here with my 15 year old daughter by the way she was the patient. The nurse was so rough with the covid test my daughter started crying 😢 I then requested another nurse . We were blessed with a nurse named Brett he was very gentle with my daughter and respected the fact that she was a child after we are done here I will not be returning.

My sister came in for a heart stent and wow they are on you to wear a mask but they don't want to wear gloves and they don't want to give you your meds or feed you. This is one of the worst hospital I've ever seen. Some of the staff is awesome but most of it is very rude. I'll go back to Pittsburgh before I'll ever come here

Always having to wait more than 5 hours just to be seen, no where to sit and even if your with someone that needs our help if your not the patient you wait out side , in my opinion the worst hospital ever, and when you do get seen your in a hall way.

The staff in the ER is nice but they are breaking HIPAA Law left to right!! Everyone hears what everyone has. They need to improve big time!! Noticed nothing was ever cleaned in the seating area like other hospitals do.

Any that pay.
Rule is 2 at a time but made exception with my granddaughter for a visit
From what I understand yes.
It's called triage. People aren't seen on a first come first serve basis. The longer you are waiting means other people were closer to dying than you.
Most likely. They are Gainesville Trauma center .
Check in Google the Phone numbers im check and les you know
I am pretty sure that is status quo around here. Since COVID this is the worst place to deal with. Maybe one day they will treat us like sick people and not like cattle with health insurance.
No. There are only 6 floors in the North Patient Tower and 5 in the South Patient Tower.
Non Covid patients are allowed 2 visitors 9am to 9pm. Covid positive patients are allowed one visitor 3pm to 5pm.
Yes, employees are required to be vaccinated for Covid-19 and the flu with the deadline for vaccinations or exemption being Dec 5, 2021
Depends on the position and experience
If all the ER doctors that treat you are not on ur insurance plan then u will be on for a big bill from ER. Same is true of hospital. Always ask. What do u mean do they bill differently? The billing office bills both.
This hospital has an emergency room. They will evaluate you and possibly give antibiotics if they see they are needed. My son got antibiotics for an abscess but it is always best to visit your dentist especially during daytime hours. I wouldn't go to the emergency room unless it were an absolute emergency because of the threat of covid19
Have not been since pandemic so don't know.
Guess so, they have accumulated enough money to build another building.
Not s problem until Anthem decided to put them out of network in October 1st with 3 months left on people insurance contracts.... Nightmare
contact the HR department, or search nghscareers.com
You have to be a patient then enroll in Mychart
I think surgery why I will refuse to go back on that floor after last experience
I do not work for them but they are laurels I think.
The hospital
The time in the waiting room that is spent waiting is the slowest time.
If the chairs are too big, it could cause a hazard blocking the door— there shouldn’t be more than 1 chair and recliner.
There are busy days, trust me. It isn’t all like that every day. Sorry for your bad experience.
Keith, hello! Good question. The payment address varies based on who sent the bill. We have created an easy form to help you find where you can mail your payment: www.nghs.com/payment Please give that form a try and let us know if you need anything else. Thank you! - NGHS Public Relations
Department of Family and children services.
No am so sorry
Renee, hello! For information regarding care for those with no insurance, please learn about applying for Financial Assistance: https://www.nghs.com/financial-assistance Thank you! :)
Yes. Northeast Georgia Medical Center offers Levels 3-1 Trauma.
Call and ask them
Check in through the emergency room. The patient will be evaluated for his Detox. Blood work will be drawn with a full work up before we will attempt to find him a facility for treatment.
I can’t understand what you’re trying to ask— can you please clarify?
Sigh, this is a huge pet peeve of mine. Yes, they can and should. Ask for the charge nurse and let them know this happened. It is a quality care issue and departments work to decrease issues like this.
Check with the hospital and their registry provider registry and they'll be able to tell you who he is
I'm not for sure
There are plenty of places on Jessie Jewel parkway West of the hospital they range from $100 to $40 a night.
I work in the ER. We have an on call urologist who can come to the hospital. If the ER physician cant help you :).
I've tried calling the hospital, I was told they do not take messages for the doctors. I was hoping someone there would have another suggestion. He doesn't have an office - apparently only treats inpatient cases. Thank you for your suggestions.
Not sure..never inquired..just shopped there 1 x
Never heard of it myself sorry
Just curious as to how you are a CNA without your high school diploma?
Yes you can and as mentioned they have a financial aid program.
The same floor as the emergency room it's to the left of the emergency room in the South tower just as you walk in the South tower turn left
No, but I believe that you can request it to be. It will also depend on its availability, and/or your insurance eligibility. The NE GA Medical facilities and care are really good at the Gainesville location in North Georgia.
You can go there for a cold or a heart attack and all things that fall under the category of medicine. They are very good no matter what you need help with.
I don't know. I was born here and my grandfather died here. Other than that, all i know is that it is a lovely facility. I highly recommend walking around and checking it all out.
Yeah but you might want to get some vaccine shots or something
