My husband and I have lived here at Independence Place, for nearly 7 years. We truly love the lifestyle and the way of living here, as opposed to living in a home. We enjoy coming and going as we please, no more maintaining a yard, increase of taxes, and not having to worry about appliances breaking and having to replace them. When they break or need repairing here, it is done! No need for worrying. The staff is fantastic and trust worthy. I would actually leave my door open, that is how much we trust them here at our complex!

After looking at many apartment possibilities, we chose Independence Place. We have been living here for nearly 2 years and are happy we picked Independence Place. Crystal, the property manager, and Katie, the assistant property manager, couldn't be nicer to work with. Their patience answering questions and assistance with the application process helped make our move here an easy process and they continue to be responsive to requests and concerns. The complex is kept in very good condition thanks to the efforts of the maintenance staff who are always very friendly and helpful. Requests for maintenance are addressed in a timely manner, the same day if it is something urgent. Independence Place also contracts with others professional contractors as needed for plumbing, heating, air conditioning, etc. Requests for maintenance can be made by telephone or via the smartphone Resident Portal app. The grounds are nicely landscaped, trimmed and cleaned by a professional landscape contractor. There a plenty of trees, shrubs and bushes. Flowers are planted seasonally. There are nice grassy areas where children can safely play. For dog owners, there is a fenced dog park where their dogs can run free. In addition to the nicely maintained grounds the complex has other amenities such as the pool, clubhouse, gym, newly updated gas-powered grills and a gas-powered fire pit. There is also an Amazon Hub for convenient receipt of packages from Amazon and other sources. There is also a car-washing / vacuum area and recently installed electric car-charging stations. With nearly 200 apartments, the population here is very diverse. There are people of all ages, from little children, teens, young and older adults and 'seniors' like us. You can meet and talk to many friendly people as you stroll through the complex. During the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, there was no interruption in services and all Health Department guidelines and mandates were implemented. We highly recommend Independence Place if you are looking for a nice, safe place to live and it fits your life-style needs. Frank and Sandra

Independence Place is a very well- managed, clean, stylish, and extremely well-maintained apartment home community with an amazing property and maintenance team. The teams are kind, understanding, and have your best interest in mind. They make it a priority for you to feel like you are comfortably at home everyday. Every encounter I have had with both the maintenance team and property team has been pleasant and enjoyable. Shout out to Crystal and Katie on providing an awesome living experience and shout out to Jay and Mike on providing top-level maintenance service. I very much appreciate them. Dolben is fortunate to have both teams on their property team.

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community that allows up to two pets per apartment! Included with your pet rent is the use of the Pet Walk stations and the community Pet Park. We allow both cats and dogs, but there are breed restrictions for dogs. Please contact us for specifics.
Utilities are not included in the rental rate. Residents are responsible for the gas, electricity and water. All utilities are individually metered for the apartment, so you only pay for what you use. Included in the rent are all of the amenities, including the Clubroom, Fitness Center, Virtual Fitness Center, Pool, and Amazon Hub for secure package acceptance. Also included is parking, our valet trash removal service, and maintenance.
