We got a male cockatiel from Sissy 3 and a half years ago and we named him Indy. Indy is very happy active little one that we are very in love with. Sissy is lovely and cares very much for all the birds that she breeds. We had a lovely experience with Sissy and we are thankful for our Indy.

After much research, we picked Sissy's Bird Colony for a cockatiel. Sissy has incredible experience with birds and is happy to share her knowledge with her customers. It was well worth the 2-hour drive to visit and select a bird, then …

Sissy is awesome! She has great customer service and is very knowledgeable about all her birds. I’m actually a repeat customer and bought my Cockatiel from her in 2011 and now I’ve purchased a beautiful parakeet and he is so much fun. I will return in the future if I want another bird. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a healthy fun loving little friend.

My experience I had with my appointment was awesome. Sissy brought out just the right amount of birds for me to look over. I knew she had more birds that I could look at but she didn’t want to overwhelm me. I was having a hard enough time trying to pick only one. So I bought two. Lol. I was also blown away with the amount of supplies you can purchase from her. The toy selection was amazing along with everything else. You can get everything you want from her. I was pleased to support her business. You can tell that she loves her birds and takes excellent care of them. I mean if you can see the amount of trophies and ribbons she has from showing birds for so many years she must know what she’s doing. Well I can keep going on about how happy the service was and how she took her time to answer all my questions. I HIGHLY Recommend her. You won’t be sorry it’s well worth it. Thanks again Sissy. Your the best.

The birds are amazing. She’s being doing this for over 20 years. The birds are very healthy. Her aviaries are closed to the public for the safety of the birds. If a person was around a ill bird and walked into a bird aviary there’s a good chance it could spread. So keeping the aviaries closed is safer for the birds and the birds being sold. Some rescues come in but they’re kept in a different building all together and are taking care of for months or years before finding them a safe an loving home. Well I could go on and on about how amazing this breeder is.
