The prices are uber affordable, I went with my best friend on a whim to get out sense of adventure and water needs out of us. This store hit the spot. We got our 2 person kayak rental for 2 hours for 45 American dollars. Oh we went out there and had a blast. Bring crocs or other water shoes if you are going towards the island and bridge because the water was very shallow and I had to carry me and my bestie out to open water multiple times. The water, CRISP, CLEAN, WOW. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, who would've know in the middle of harrisburg???? We could've kayaked all day long- it was so worth it. We enjoyed it and would do it again and again.

You'll be fine. They even have tandem kayaks if he is very large, most of those hold around 550.
They do not rent motorized boats.
