Delicious early lunch at the Rhody Hen. The restaurant only had about ten tables inside and it was raining outside so that setting wasn’t open. We arrived at 11:00am and were pleased that our party of four could be seated right away, thanks to our wonderful waitress who kindly asked a couple sitting at a table for four if they would mind moving to a table for two that had just been cleaned. They didn’t mind at all since their food hadn’t arrived yet. So they took their silverware and moved. I thanked them too. Our food was delicious. One had pancakes, another the Cuban sandwich, another a vegan breakfast sandwich (she didn’t care for it because she’s not vegan but wanted to try it), and I had the three mini quesadillas (I gave one to my friend) and hot chocolate (yummy!). Some patrons were waiting outside for takeout. About the quesadillas, they had scrambled eggs, bacon, and traditional peppers and onions with sides of salsa and sour cream. I wasn’t prepared for the corn tortillas (don’t like), but they were grilled with cheese embedded in them and came out like hard taco shells. Amazing. Recommend you giving this local establishment a try for breakfast or lunch. Added photo of cute sign in restroom.

Delicious food. Small place though, the wait can be long at times. The half hour we waited was worth it.
