I found what I wanted and did the self checkout. This store had more choices than my usual Jewel.

7:30 a.m. 29 cars in the lot, 11 shoppers. Only 1 car at the back of the lot. So 17 employees are parked in customer spots.

They treat their employees like garbage. Before quitting my job as a stocker here in this Jewel Osco I was humiliated by my manager Rochelle in front of my co-workers/ vendors. She had especially gathered me and my co-workers to yell at me. The managers above her are much nicer, but they need better management in this category. There were many stockers before me and there were 3 remaining including myself at the time that I worked. Rochelle is probably the reason employees quit their jobs. I hope Osco is able to find a better manager, because knowing Rochelle the employees won’t last very long.

I like going to Jewel, but I wish they would stop rearranging the isle configurations. I end up spending more time looking for items. It also ticks off the customers.

Great from a customer's point of view. Masking is a condition of employment, so everyone on the clock is doing their share. Self checkouts are wiped down between customers, carts are wiped down by staff after collecting them from the parking lot and bringing back inside. As long as the rest of us, the customers, do our part and mask up with BOTH the nose and mouth covered, keep your six foot distance from everyone else around you and while at the checkout, not making a mess, don't be special by being special, and just get your stuff and pay and get out, we'll all be better off. Remember you are not the only person in the store who is "important" or has your rights, so is literally everyone else. Care.
