Save your time and money! This place is awful, slow and unprofessional. It took forever to get our food, mashed potatoes were ice cold, the mac and cheese wasn’t cooked all the way, as the cheese wasn’t melted, the sassy wings were basically chicken jerky as they were severely over cooked and the whiting fish was fried to the point that is was inedible. After we paid the manager or Sylvia came around and asked how everything was, a little too late if you ask me! Look around for another place to eat. I’ve eaten there once before and that time was mediocre. We only went this time because a friend of ours had never been. BIG MISTAKE!!!

This place was so amazing! Came all the way from Orlando and gave this spot a try. Some of the best soul food I’ve ever had in my life.

Good food would recommend
Oz Sultan
A true Harlem original - be careful getting the smothered chicken at lunch though, you're bound to get the itis'. ☺️

No. But it can get busy. Just be prepared to wait sometimes from 15-30 minutes.
Yes, you can call-in your order. Just pull up menu on your phone and, Vóila! Hope this helps ☺
Call and speak to Ken. He's the owner.
Absolutely its Thanksgiving and they will be very Busy. Enjoy the Holiday Season.🗽
Go to Manna's in the Bronx instead. It's much better.
Sylvia's Restaurant is still open and just celebrated 57 years in business. It is still owned and operated by Sylvia Woods's family.
Sylvia's is still slamming! Yes, i can believe it! I went to Sylvia's for my birthday breakfast and fell in love all over again! The service and the food top notch! Excellente! There are other fish restaurants in Harlem thst serve catfish! Taste of Seafood & the Lighthouse Fish Market and restaurant!
Yes. But you have to call ahead and let them know beforehand .
Yes. They sell a variety of products (which are quite good in my humble opinion).
They do have chicken and waffles if that equates to brunch. Not sure about the mimosa part.
Yes, but guess they need to lnow how many people to have a reservation.
No craft beer
Yes. They even have a wheelchair accessible bathroom on the main floor.
Jay Speller is correct. Theyhave omelettes and waffles for breakfast. Then the sides and desserts.
They sell it at the restaurant. Or you can get it on Amazon
No
Yes it does and if you like that type of atmosphere, You will thoroughly enjoy Sylvia's.
Unsure. Had the dine in experience and food was really good
I would suggest that you give them a call
You can if you can. I made reservations and when we got there was totally different and disappointing.
Try calling the restaurant
I'm not sure if they deliver on Thanksgiving you should call. They have been open off and on and doing things for the community.
Sylvia and Herbert Woods's four children currently own and operate Sylvia's Restaurant along with their children. Sylvia's Restaurant is still black-owned and family-owned and operated.
No not really, but you should call just in case. Sunday's are there busy days
Definitely call. Be sure and get the name of your contact
Depend what u eat but usually u can choose beef with other 2 slides exempl Mac and cheese and vegetables with drink is almost 35$
I would recommend rising the subway and walking to the restaurant
Go to her website maybe there's shipping information
Yes, they do cater full pans of food. You can place an order with their catering department. They also cater on-site and off-site parties.
I didn't have the ribs but the oxtails were awesome!
Street parking... give yourself extra time to drive around to look for parking.
Parking is limited in that area very busy will have to drive around looking for parking, but there are parking garages in the area, one is right down the block by the state bldg.
I believe its 11am
Cornbread is served everyday. Not sure about dressing.
On sundays they do
Yes, but it is very difficult to find a seat without a reservation. My girlfriend and I, without having booked, in order not to wait too long we ate at the counter.
If the establishment does play gospel music, it would be on Sundays. However, I doubt they do. Doesn't hurt to inquire with Sylvia's personally.
Yes they have a bar. When you enter you will see a bar and chairs on the right side. There are plenty of people that eat by themselves at the bar.
The food has changed the restaurant also has a new owner
Maybe in a supermarket the company sell can goods
No valet parking. Street if you're lucky. Overpriced parking lot if you're not.
Family but I just recently found out that they don't own it. Not sure if it is true or not but source seems solid!!!
Call them?
Good, there is live music, I'm not sure if every day but on Sunday, after the mass of 1 there was soul live with a pianist and a woman singer, both very nice and interactive with the people, 100% recommended
The tea was 4.50 with no refill. Since we were visiting from Atlanta she gave a refill as a courtesy.
I don't know anything about delivery service.
I think you have to contact the restaurant directly
No they do not sale bean pies but it was some brothers across the street saling some bean pies.
Sylvia Woods passed away in 2012 at the age of 86.
