The vehicle registration is a borderline scam. If you register in June, you pay for the entire year and the registration lasts you <1 month. There is no pro-rating or ability to appeal. No wonder so many people in New Haven avoid registering their cars here (effectively dodging taxes and losing the city money).. what a joke.
