The staff is great, but god help you if you arrive during a busy time. The line will stretch to the interstate ramp. Bottom line the facility is unable to meet peak demand and is the most inefficient transfer station I've ever been to and I've lived all over the US. Prepare to wait for hours just to drop off some construction debris or yard waste as a resident.

a few days ago I helped a neighbor who needed to go to the city dump. I have a pickup truck , he had secured the dump coupons from 34 middletown av.. the commercial line was crowded, the residential line was open. we were directed as to where to dump. the city employee , ( mike cloud ?) was the person directing the action. he was great to work with , professional, good natured and helpful. we were in and out in 10 minutes. thank you mike for your help. the transfer station looked orderly, in good shape. it worked out well.
