Absolutely delicious "fast" food. Order at the counter, wait a little while. They have a changing menu, and 90% of everything is fantastic. Inexpensive and so worth your time.

finally, at last, i popped into the new location this evening for the first time. couldn't help but feel a little ashamed at how long its taken me. but we only have now from now on, right? anyway. the friggin beef shank kimchi melt 🥺 and a pbr 🥲 followed up w that maple pie 🥴💦 really so, so perfect of a combo especially when you take yer time. let it settle on the belly in comfy, warm n delicious layers. what a lovely experience, tho i wasn't prepared to hang solo n stay for a while - from the initial phone order (i unfortunately did not get the gentlemens name, i don't think. im getting a dave rn..maybe that's it), ever so patient n reassuring despite all the bustle in the back. it was still a bit of a wait to pick up food but that wasn't a problem in the slightest. really love(d) the simple stimuli/layout in the place to keep everything relaxed. no need for overbearing music or obnoxious tvs. just ppl enjoying company n good food. loved the focused yet equally relaxed chefs amidst the busy. the gentle, efficient expediting. a tiny but mighty crew. it's the underdogs for me. always. *david* you are so sincere and in tune. forgive me if that isn't your name. everything felt like a big bear hug to my tired mind body n soul. worth the wait. the money. and absolutely worth looking forward to treating myself to more of those vibes this fall n winter. thanks for making me feel good.

The food here is always amazing. 5 stars. But I really hope they can expand their staff and kitchen to meet demand on a busy night. The wait time, even for takeout, has been consistently very long. I wouldn’t mind if I knew that it would take 1.5hrs (yes, it took that long after putting our order in online). When I arrived after the estimated ready time they told me “5mins”. I’m currently inside writing this and have been waiting for 25. I just wish they honestly told me “sorry we’re super slammed, can you come back in 30min?” I wish this was a one-time occurrence but it’s happened a couple times in a row now. So, have high expectations for the food, but also expect a long wait time on a busy night.
