St. Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA Holiday

This is the nicest, and the priciest KOA we've stayed it. As of 2/18, it's $88 a night. Considering the average price for a night of camping is around $35, this is expensive. Great campground, though.

How much is the tent camping

Yes

Some sights are on water but it a river that leads to the ocean.

The deluxe cabins come with beds and sheets, the regular cabin comes with a bed but no sheets or pillows.

I think they close at 8-9pm. But if you have a reservation there is 24 hour security that will let you check in anytime. I have found a simple phone call telling them you will be a late check is always appreciated by the staff.

I've stayed at this campground and these facilities are super clean, the amenities are awesome and my friends, family and I made wonderful memories for years to come. The staff is exceptionally friendly. I would recommend it.

Yes, but all the spots are in the open areas...no shade. For a little more you could rent a rustic cabin. We stayed in one for a week and it was perfect. You can get estimated prices for either site toe on their website.

The pictures show lots of RV and cabin accommodations because that's majority of what's there. There is a tent area, and it's actual really nice. They set up a cleaning cabin for tent campers to wash dishes and cookware. There's also a charging station where you can plug in your phone charger or whatever needs power.

Yes, there is so much here for kids to do and yes pet friendly. Florida weather is beautiful all year round. This KOA has a lovely pool for the warm days.

They actually do towards the back of campground ( just as good and they have another set of bathrooms showers washers ECT so that you get to know your neighbors without having to have the high rate of traffic as the weekend campers and they have their own neighbor watch its informal but everyone respects the stuff you leave outside of camper if you go to Walmart or ANYTHING!

You can confirm online at their website at koa.com This is a hard question because the rates depend on how many adults, teenagers, or pets stay with you. Additionally, they have different rates for the different sized camping lots and based on if you rent a cabin, how big your RV os, if you're using a rent site, etc. You need to check their website.

They open in the morning, either at 8am or 9am. They don't have breakfast in the office, but they do sell just about everything else one could think of for a campground store.

It appears one part of the campground is used for permanent residents, but there did not appear to be any availability when we were there last month. Call them to confirm

You'll need to call that KOA office to ask them. If you live in Saint Petersburg you can drive over and they'll let you know what's available and when.

Yes, pets are permitted. They have a little Kamp K-9 gated area for puppers. When I made a reservation and noted I was bringing a dog, they didn't ask what kind, just noted a $10 additional fee for the cabin rental.

Cabins there vary by season. It can go anywhere from $80 a night to 150 dollars a night for a simple 2 room cabin without a bathroom. The chalets run more expensive.

Above is Not true. You can rent a simple cabin. They run 86.00 a night sleeps 2 adults on full size bed and 2 bunk beds. I just stayed there 3 weekends ago

Yes there were 2 when we were there

Definitely enough space for two vehicles. I have seen a few boats there at times but I also know not every site has enough room for a boat as well. Check with the very helpful staff at the offic/store.
