IHOP

Went into this IHOP for the first time since the pandemic. I'm disabled and immunocompromised and this was my first attempt at going to a sit down restaurant post COVID. Figured it would be a good time as it was later and was very quiet, only 5 other tables being filled. Hostess said she just needed a moment to check all the tables, which was no problem, and when she came back asked if a table was alright- which it was. She then proceeded to bring us to the table directly in the center of the only other people in there, on the other side of the restaurant (a far walk for someone with crutches). We ended up leaving. There were endless empty tables away from everyone else. Plenty closer to the front. And we didn't even have a chance to request another table because by the time we realised the problem, she (and everyone else that worked there) was no where to be found. So we just left. I won't be back to this IHOP again.

Not all Ihops are equal. The restaurant itself is very clean, roomy and the staff are all friendly. That being said, the pancakes had a crunch to them and my omelette was dry dry dry! Imagine paying that much, $14 for an omelette that either was overcooked or had been sitting for a long time. My family has been to plenty IHOP locations, unfortunately this one missed the mark.
