To Narragansett Properties Staff, Below is the review I provided to Vrbo. Furthermore, we used the beach from 9:00am - 1:00 or 2:00pm till the youngest needed to nap and lunch. Then we used the pool. As grandparents, my wife and I were so happy to see our grandchildren happy. Thank you again for the hospitality and let the owner be aware of the beautiful house. The view of the ocean and beach was spectacular and walking to the beach from the house was about fifty yards. The four grandchildren ( 4 1/2, 3, 2, 2 and 6 month old) had a blast. We used the pool which it was one of our priorities. Driving to local restaurant was several miles away and less than forty minutes to Newport. Perfect location for a family. We definitely want to do it again. Thank you to the owner and to the Narragabsett property staff to keep up abreast. TP family

Not a good experience through Narragansett Properties or Airbnb. House was described as quiet, pet-friendly, with the sound of birdsong. Yard was visually lovely but dangerous: steep precipice with inadequate and broken fencing -- bad for dogs and children, and so close to highway that the roar of the traffic, at ALL hours made staying outside unpleasant. House was not marked as it was down shared driveway, but worse, 4 days were wasted trying to find out how to remove garbage and recycling. Realtor finally sent someone over who found missing receptacle, had to lose a day waiting to meet. Flooring has unmarked and dangerous step-downs inside, main stone steps from driveway had no railings and were unlit, really dangerous at night when dog needed to be taken out. Then, plumbing backed up when everyone had to shower after beach and we spent a night unable to use toilet, sinks or shower due to raw sewage. Know the previous family didn't stay based on what we were told. Realtor sent over workman again, another day wasted as septic company came out to pump septic. Attitude of realtor, in writing was defensive and snide. Basically said it was our fault for misinterpreting their ad. Didn't realize basic safety was an amenity we had to specifically ask about. Refunded 10% of what we paid in advance for a week. In short, worst vacation we ever had in the many decades we've vacationed in RI. Ruined the last vacation before both kids went off to college. Both are on the autism spectrum so was especially traumatic for them. Will stick w our usual realtor or book directly with traditional inns and b+b as before. At least to them "access to beaches" means a beach pass. Never again.

While the agency Narragansett Properties was helpful and efficient, the property we rented was absolutely awful. Combined family vacation in the Sand Hill Cove are. Our house was 51 Oak Ave., to be clear, there is NO “lipstick on this pig”. While the house accommodated all of us, it was dirty, tired and we would not recommend it. This house is simply a “down the line” home for URI students who rent during the academic school year. Our daughter lifted the couch cushion to retrieve something that fell between cushions. She told us the base beneath was just plywood, we should look. Our response was, “No, we know it’s filthy and we will not be able to unsee it once you see it.” The kitchen was lacking much of anything with regards to dishes, utensils, cookware. You will need to bring everything from toilet paper, plastic wrap, paper towels, sponges. ANYTHING you may want in a rental. We understood sheets and towels would not be provided, but please note, there will be nothing there at all and it will be dirty. Felt like the frat boys just stepped out for the day. Unfortunately, we were more than happy to leave this rental. This house is just masquerading as a beach rental. The truly unfortunate thing is we looked so forward to it after having lived in RI for close to 40 years and only wished to return for a family reunion together.

Excellent location. WE loved the 5 bedroom house all 9 of us. Also we were able to bring our dog along. Staff was great as well. Thanks Ron
