After researching apartments online from work overnight, this was the only one I would go to see. I am 70, highly disabled, was even then, and now I have the added trouble of having slipped and fallen on ice in my old horrible apartment place due to bad drains outside....so I have 4 compound fractures of the left femur.....and have been bedridden right up to moving day this Friday. :This Oakwood Sr Estates is so CLEAN, so well MANAGED, they have been so HELPFUL, it is gorgeous, neat, well kept up all over , so it made laying on a cot all alone and no family checking in or helping.....that much better and more hopeful to handle everything on line or through the mail after the initial visit. I trust them with all my heart and soul.......dreams of that new clean well prepared wonderful unit where there are others in my state, on a walker, a wheelchair, a cane, whatever......have kept me bouyed up and alive and filled with hope for my future. I get the keys friday and I will be thanking Jesus that I found them in the nick of time and that they have so far made my intended move so much smoother. I tell everyone about them. I am very impressed as my background is in property management in the past.
