This has to be one of the best Stop & Shop locations in the state. If one is in the area, this is the place for food shopping.

I have gotten bread from stop and shop in Meriden with mold on it.Thier meats are terrible.I will not shop at stop and shop anymore.

Given the crisis with government employees having their pay withheld, I’m wondering if Stop & Shop is going to offer free food to those with a government ID?

I do not think so but I know there have been resources available for government employees during other shutdowns, particularly over by the Submarine Base in Groton. Best of luck.
