Have camped here for over 60 years. It is still a very nice place to camp. The beach is clean and there is a lifeguard on duty. The campsites are clean and neat when you arrive. The rangers and the staff are super nice. Enjoy your star....just watch out for the bears.

Great campground that my bride has gone to for years. There is no electricity at these sites so they may not be the best choice for everyone. There is a small lake with a beach for swimming. There is another small beach called dig beach that you can take your dog to.

You need to book on the lake side and not all of them have access. Beautiful overall, but bath houses and water spigiots are far and not always as marked.

Service is very spotty everywhere in Speculator.
They are very clean.
The campground itself does not, but there are a few places nearby that do.
The fishing has always been good up there. Not sure about offshore because the lake is pretty shallow until you get out a little ways but if you have a boat the fish are plentiful. Lots of minnows in the shallows
