I look forward to BJ’s delicious meals, pizookies, and hand-crafted sodas as much as anyone… but the service at this location is very disappointing. This was my second time here in the past few weeks (both times during popular Pizookie Tuesdays) and the service has been so disappointing. To put concisely, most recently we were seated at 8:45pm and didn’t leave until 11, yet all we ordered was 1 burger, 1 soup, and 3 pizookies amongst water for the table. Both times I’ve been here it is as if our server was nonexistent. Besides the fact that we had waited 15 minutes to just be greeted, our server would come over to let us know she’d be right with us, and then serve multiple other tables and leave us waiting 20+ minutes to order or just to pay out. To put this into context, the other waitress’ tables were flipped twice during our everlasting visit. As much as I want to blame this on the two servers I have had, I am led to believe there is a wholistic lack of teamwork here. The fact that none of the other staff is willing to help their coworkers is unfortunate and results in a bad experience for guests, all while costing the restaurant money when they cannot get more guests in the door. I shouldn’t have to apologize to my friends for inviting them out to eat. I have been serving at a restaurant every summer for the past three years and I would not be happy with myself if I gave such inattentive service.

I absolutely loved this place! Our server Jose was incredible. He was extremely attentive to our party and was super kind. Honestly the best server I have ever had. He served (literally and metaphorically).
