They aren't closed, but they are diverted around an area. Can't figure out why though. You can still hike the Escarpment Trail to Windham Peak

There are a lot of trail options. You can be there are a shot time or all day.
The sign at the Peck road trailhead specifically prohibits any form of motorized transport. Last time I was there I saw the Hunter Twp sheriff ride one in to extract an injured person, but I think they're the only ones capable of doing that
