Always good to stay at the Home2Suites. Room and bathroom were clean. Comfortable beds, large rooms, full refrigerator, oven, dishes. Breakfast was okay with Cereals, oatmeal, waffles and breakfast sandwiches. It was okay. Location was good with lots of restaurants around.

Very clean and newish hotel centrally located to a variety of restaurants, shopping, and beach. We were looking for a decent place to stay without spending too much as we wouldn't be in our room that often. This was a great option. The staff was very friendly and I've got no complaints about the room itself. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming. The selection and options looked good, but the taste was pretty bad and the coffee wasn't much better. However, because the hotel is newer, checking in and out and the use of keys on the app was very convenient. All in all not too bad for what it is.

My wife and I originally had high hopes for this hotel based on previous reviews and the relatively new age of the property. When making our reservation we specifically requested a room that had not been cleaned with heavily scented or perfumed products. Upon checking into our room we were blasted in the face with some of the strongest synthetic cleaner/perfumes we have ever experienced. It was obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned the last time and had just been covered up with these heavily scented products. There was a strong odor of urine in the kitchen area and the carpet in the living area was especially perfumed. I returned to the front desk to request a new room and was told that this was the only room available, there was one other room but the carpet had just been cleaned that morning and would surely smell even stronger. Reluctantly we stayed in the room that night because it was late and we did not feel like driving around to find a new hotel after a long day of travel. Consequently the smell in the room gave my wife a headache which has now lasted four days, and we could even smell the cleaner on our clothes and on our dogs over 24 hours later. A day after staying at the hotel I received an online survey from Hilton, I replied with many of the same comments I am leaving here and figured I would at least hear back from the hotel management. I have not. That is why I am posting this public review for everyone to see. Had I received a proper response back from the hotel management then we could’ve handled this in-house but ultimately I guess it’s better for everyone considering this hotel to understand what they are getting into. Since that hotel stay we have stayed at three other Hilton properties in our travels and none has had the horrible perfume that that one did. Our current hotel room has absolutely no smell of cleaners, as a hotel room should be. It seems that since Covid, hotel managers and cleaning staffs have wrongly assumed that the paying public will think the room is safe and clean if it smells like some horrible synthetic cleaner, they are wrong, clean should smell like nothing.

The Nico checked us is he is amazing btw. He was very nice and helpful with answering questions we had. Also told us about a pool table they had on the lobby floor. We arrived at 1am and we needed something to help us unwind. I had a lot of fun with my boyfriend "I won" 😁. The hotel room was nice and very clean. We were on the top floor over looking the pool so great. The breakfast selection was nice as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Loving my stay. I love the chairs the look like little robot faces.
