The church itself is beautiful, but I'm disheartened with the staff's treatment towards the local homeless community. I have spoken to some of them and it seems that upon discovering they were using the outlets and hose, the staff locked those things without trying to redirect them to a different source of electricity and clean water. I've also witnesses who I believe to be a groundskeeper yell at one homeless youth. I understand the staff must follow groundskeeping and safety rules, but to punish the impoverished without attempting to provide alternative aid does not seem very humble or holy. To do so under the gaze of the Blessed Virgin Mother is even more dissapointing.

Another beautiful Roman Catholic church in RI!! 😊💖😊💖😊💖 I have attended the Mass here and also for different Holy Days of Obligation and Ash Wednesday . Fr.Ed Cardente is so nice and has a great personality!!! Parishioners are friendly. This church has merged with 2 others doing various good works in the community.
