My brother got me a Groupon, knowing I love German food, and also knowing there are few German restaurants not only in St Louis, but in the entire state. We went and were the only people there. They had a very small unkempt salad bar. The dining room was interesting but there we’re layers of dust on everything. IMHO, it’s a filthy place and not at all realistic. Make your own food. Whether you have cooked German food or not, I’m sure yours will be better….

I can't add the prices, but I can say that I thought their prices were extremely reasonable and on top of that I saw that they also had a Groupon so definitely check to see if there's still one available. Everything that I ordered was absolutely wonderful - cooked to order, authentic German food. It brought back memories of my childhood eating at grandparents (who immigrated from Germany). Plus the service was fantastic. I'm so glad that I found this restaurant while I was in Waterloo for work. If I lived in Waterloo, I think that I'd be eating there several times a week. I can't recommend them strongly enough.
