This is absolutely the best "just relax" kinda place. Enough fishing to go 'round, no loud party types, you are allowed to scavenge for fire wood(unlike any other campgrounds where you must purchase wood) to help keep the grounds clean. Landowner butch is just the nicest guy, made sure everything worked fine, killed the wasp in the electric box, spotted for me while I backed our trailer in, and just checked in everyday to make sure everything was still working and okay. Will continue to be a repeat camper here.

I'm not sure what the last commenter was on about, though I see he has deleted and reposted his comment several times, my guess is someone got kicked out and wasn't happy. Memorial Day weekend wasn't our first visit and will not be our last. Butch upgraded us to a more discreet site when we arrived and it was PERFECT. He helped back in our trailer and get everything set up. Gave us a discount. Came by every day to see if we needed anything and was constantly working (pushed down a dead tree, mowed for hours). No wild dogs running wild. Mostly families, some long timers. Would absolutely suggest this place as a getaway from the city.

Junk everywhere, aggressive growling, snarling, pit bulls in my campsite with no owner to be found. Water supply well is 50 feet away from leaking dump station. Water out of tap, with my filtration system is brown and smells like sewage. Apparently, it’s private property so animal control did nothing. Owner is a feeble old man who embraces the non-paying degenerates, who have multiple court dates ranging from drug to vehicle charges, over the paying customers. Verified with county attorneys office.

Best campground around. Butch the owner is a quality guy and totally reasonable.
