They serve authentic portuguese food but it the quality is not that great. I had bacalhau a bras and it had so many eggs and very little bacalhau that it tasted like fishy scrambled eggs. The waiter was not great either, he was not very friendly at all and we had to ask another waiter for stuff we wanted and we also had to ask another waiter for the check twice, the guy just stopped coming to our table. Not great.

I would 0 stars if I could. We planned an evening tour at the borden house and time to spare before the tour. We decided to grab something to eat at this restaurant. As we parked my 7 year old daughter saw that there was a cat cafe with a little store attached and asked could we look in the store before heading across the street for dinner. Someone who I am guessing is the owner of the restaurant stopped his pick up truck in the middle of the street and started to scream out the window. We were confused and my husband walked back towards the parking out, the man got out of his truck and was screaming using horrible language in front of my children. He said we could not park there that it was his restaurants parking clearly not knowing we were planning on eating there. My husband said well we definitely not going there then and moved the car while we went into the store to look around. According to staff its a very common occurrence (the screaming abuse at people). If the owner is verbally abusive and clearly has a disregard for traffic safety I would never waste my hard earned money eating there. FYI the cat cafe has its own parking if we had been intending on staying there!!! Horrible treatment, absolutely disgusting behavior. Edit * looking at other reviews this behavior is common and so is the lack of responsibility on the owners behalf.

Excellent food. Great service. Very clean and great atmosphere. Love this place and love the staff. Highly recommend.
