Eyelash extensions are actually semi-permanent screws, or rather cylinders, that are glued to your existing lash line using a cyanoacrylate adhesive (the same kind used in surgical glue). If this glue comes into contact with your skin it will dissolve there is no way that it can damage your lashes. The weight of the extension is very light and should not cause any breakage to the lashes.
