Wonderful staff and great facility. They provide boarding, grooming, daycare - you name it. They go above and beyond for local rescue groups, too. A group of people who genuinely care about the work they do and the little ones they help each day.

I’m disappointed because I really liked this place at first, but unfortunately, my dog developed an ear infection right after being groomed at Westport Dog. The vet informed me it was an aggressive bacteria and we are now going through treatment that will cost around $300 at minimum. I spoke to one of the owners 3 days ago and they apologized, but said they have never heard of anything like this, doubted the possibly of it happening at their facility, and said she didn’t know what to do about the situation. She told me she would call me back, and then never returned my call. I still have not heard from them. I have no doubt that my dog developed an ear infection at this facility because we cleaned them out prior to the grooming and the groomer had no feedback for me at the end of the grooming, indicating he was healthy. But, later on that night, his ear began leaking a brown substance and bleeding started thereafter. I will say that they do a great job grooming my dog otherwise and if this situation had not occurred, I would have left 5 stars.
