THE BRONX VA HOSPITAL IS NOT THE BEST, THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM, AND ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME THEY WILL GET CAUGHT, MY DAD WHO IS A VETERAN TRYING TO GET HEARING AIDS, AND THEY HAVE BEEN NASTY TO HIM OVER THE PHONE. MANY YEARS AGO IT WAS VETERANS WHO WORKED AT THE VA, AND NOW ITS FLY BY NIGHT EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE NO HUMANITY AT ALL, AND DONT GIVE TWO DAMS ABOUT THE VETERANS.. BUT DONT WORRY, WOE TO YOU ALL WHEN GOD COMES FOR YOU.......

As a veteran I expected better connectivity to the web as other hospitals that I been to. This hospital doesn't have any access to internet connection for veterans. Hope someone can address this issue. Thanks

Patient look up
I am sure not the manager just a dedicated worker.
Not the Whole Staff. But I Believe there is a Generalization of Departments.
They have a ER but if you come in they will see you.
If your asking if your husband has an appointment with a doctor, you won't get an answer through Google maps nor if you would call the VA yourself due to HIPAA
If he retired you should be able too, ask the people on the 9th floor at the Bronx, VA, they should be able to help!
Yes there is, actually two of them next to each other. They are located on the ground floor across from the VCS store and next to the travel office and pharmacy.
Yes. I am a wife(spouse) of a Vietnam Vet. We went to Fort Hamilton Base with my Social...State ID and Marriage License and I received the card the same day. They took my picture and created the card.
You have to go through mental health on the 3rd floor!
First off, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. There are other questions that need to be answered which can help you receive earned benefits. For example, was your husband service connected, and if so, did he pass as a result of the service connected disability? Did he receive a military pension? Questions like these are important since you would be able to submit a DIC claim. (dependant indemnity claim) which will enable you to receive monthly payments from the VA which would be a percentage of what your husband used to collect every month. I would recommend calling your local county veterans agency to discuss the possible avenues of benefits you might have.
You should call; ask for the library; talk to the librarian.
You would have to call the Decedent affairs office.
When in doubt always go to Primary Care first. It's on the first floor to the left of entrance on the right across from the Eye Clinic.
I don't know, not a patient at that department.
Although there is parking available, there is no specified area for outpatient only parking.
yes
A 214 showing Honorable and records showing medals and awards dates of service
The medical center has none unless you're a spinal cord injury. A Community Care center has about 160 rooms. Veterans who require long term can be held in the Med Center awaiting a Comm Center room when deemed necessary. Long waiting lists.
No they are not set up for that. The Greater NY Blood Program collects pints of blood now and again there. That is all
It depends on where you want to send the fax. My suggestion would be to call the hospital and get in touch with the department your trying to fax too.
The parkings tight. Sometimes you have to drive around several times before you get a spot. They are building something there where they had additional parking.
You need to call the VA hospital
DD214 if you don't have it they will help you attaining one
You need to apply for that
I'm not sure but if you have questions about benefits. There office is on the 9th fl
That information will only be given over the phone. They only have that information.
Whatever time you have an appointment.
Call human resources and ask .
No closed on the weekends
It should be on the letter they send you letting you know they have received your request. Look in the top right hand or left corner!
You have to go to a base and see id card section like fort Hamilton or west point
I want to visit my son in law at the VA hospital. What are the visitors hrs. Please.
I usually call, to see any of the clinics. Vet's need to see the primary care doctor and get a consul for whatever clinic one needs to see.
VA hospital open Mon. thru Fri. 8am to 4pm, close on holidays. ER is open 24hr.
By the defac they have on the first floor there is a clothes box for donations
