What an iconic north country spot. Great food. The ace is filled with back woods memorabilia and a charm that is hard to best.

Ogre (The Laughing Ogre)

Just had a couple cold beers to cut the trail dust.. The joint was full of those one of a kind Yoopers.. a lady ( well I am sure she is at home ) was killing the wife and I.. had me crying tears of joy. Cheep beer and wonderful folks.. solid 5 of 5

We were so hungry a few hours into our 10 hour road trip and happened upon this bar. Burgers were delicious and fresh, fried veggies were superb. For just having "bar food" we were very satisfied with our meals and it really hit the spot. The interior has that local dive bar charm that you want to experience when visiting from out of town. Staff (one bartender) was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the visit
