I’m 15 years old . Roaches in our clothes , mice eating our food … there is literally a mouse inside a cabinet in the room I’m in as I type … eating the garbage that was left in there because when me and my family got out here , the unit was not clean , it had a disgusting aroma.. the workers here are lazy , messy and disgusting . They like working in a disgusting environment.. to be honest I hope someone calls 311 and get this place shut down so all the families can be transferred to a clean environment , people have newborns in here … they should be ashamed of themselves.

Go to Path in the Bronx they will place you in a shelter. Even before that contact coalition for the homeless and see what help they can offer. The salvation army main number can even give you help. Don't give up. There's help somewhere. You can also call 311. They can help you too.
I moved in briarwood in December of 2018 and I got my apt in July 2019.. However it's the work you put in to helping the housing staff a apt is not just going to come to you ...you have to do some of yor own foot work if you do your own work you can find a decent place if you dont,and you just sit there then you might be there a while.A shelter is supposed to be a quick solution in an emergency not a long term answer.beaware I took SOTA PROGRAM I MOVED OUT OF BRIARWOOD IN THE END OF AUGUST AND LANDLORD CAME TO ME IN MAY AND SAID I NEED TO START PAYING RENT I WAS LIKE HUH I HAVE A LEASE IM ALSO PAYING A S IDE DEAL OF 250.A MONTH SINCE I MOVED IN WHICH IM NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PAYING SOTA IS NOT WHAT ITS CRACKED UP TO BE. I GOT A BESUTIFUL HOUSE BUT THEY LIE TO GET YOU TO WHERE YOU GOTRA GO SND SCREW YOU. I've met so many people here in jersey from NY who are all in shelters back inny because NJ does not help you they don't even want NYC SOTA residents in there state. Do your Homework...
