For who I have become today, my new journey toward a better life began at MountainSide. All of the amenities, activities, and staff members(well, most of them) made it worthwhile. Time felt like forever there but also went by very fast. I would recommend MountainSide in a heartbeat to anyone in need of turning their life around. On top of the abundant resources on the campus, i’ve been grateful for the experience of having a recovery coach. Rachel has been such a comforting, motivating, honest guiding force in my life, yet is also very down to earth and I could not imagine this first year of recovery without her.

Hello. We ask that all clients leave their cellphones at home or have them held in our lockers until discharge. This is because cellphones can be very distracting and disruptive. We do have Mountainside phones for clients to stay connected to their family and friends. These phones are available for use outside of programming hours. Due to COVID, visits are currently virtual only. As soon as it is safe to do so, we hope to bring back in-person visits for our Residential clients.

Hi, Laura - Addiction unfortunately does not discriminate and impacts all walks of life. We definitely have had medical professionals among our clients. If detox is needed, then it averages 3 to 7 days. Our Residential program is for 35 nights and afterwards our Extended Care program is an option once their Residential program has come to an end.
