Good morning St. James Cathedral. Sorry to say but the Organist lingers too long to start music and acclamations. The Alleluiah! should be uplifting, because God has been risen. When I hear it sung in your Cathedral, I tell myself; they are killing the Lord all over again. The hymns! they grag It too much. Alleluiah! Lift up the Lord for he has risen indeed.! Don't get me wrong I know some of the hymns should be slow, but not all of it. Sing a few uplifting hymns. Fr. Patterson I enjoy the way he celebrates mass. I feel like I had church. Praise God!

I think I read at 12pm at Mass, or 5:30 ashes service in the bulletin.
Attended school late 1940 to june 1949. Remembered Frs. Toomey, krisch, lavelle, and monsignor scheerin.
You should call the church directly
As stated on the website, it's open 9 am-2 pm daily. Mass is at 12 noon followed by rosary. So you can pray privately between 9-12 and 12:30-2 pm Mon-Thurs. Fridays there is Eucharistic Adoration 11-12 noon, Mass at noon and confessions at 12:30 pm.
