I could cry tears of happiness when I think about how thankful I am for Bellevue Womens Center. I saw maternal fetal medicine specialist Dr. Margono and his assistant Alex throughout my pregnancy to monitor my velamentous cord. They were so supportive and always took the time to make sure that my baby and I were safe and comfortable. I planned a homebirth but had to go to the hospital after six days of labor, upon arriving to Bellevue I was welcomed with open arms and kind hearts who made me feel completely at ease! From that point forward my birth process couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Nurse / former doula Britney and delivery Dr. Parisi were so incredibly kind and informative they took the time to value the pain I had been in and care for me with compassion. After giving birth they put the baby right on my chest and she was able to spend every moment with me , they never took her out of the room… There’s so many myths about hospitals that my experience did not follow I feel like I was truly able to have a holistic and thoughtful birth here. A few hours in the lactation consultants taught me about what I needed to know… There’s so many things I learned about breast-feeding from them I think it’s made it all possible, they’re also on call 24 hours a day so I’ve been able to reach out with any concerns or questions in the middle of the night. I couldn’t have imagined the special day of my daughters birth going any other way, I am so fortunate to have had this place. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to give birth in a nice calm loving environment filled with people who truly care about women’s health. Most of the nurses and doctors who work here also mothers so they can understand everything that you’re going through and I think that makes all the difference when it comes to going here versus a hospital, I think they truly have your best interest in mind and they just want to help. it feels like helping women give birth is more than just a job for them it is a passion.. thank you to everyone at Bellevue!!

I had surgery here on Monday and never in my life have I ever received such wonderful thoughtful care from healthcare professionals. It was my first surgery ever and I was very scared and the nurses made me feel so safe and comfortable, it really meant so much to me

Gave birth about a week ago here and definitely have some favorites! I loved my delivery team they were OUTSTANDING and so helpful. The epidural nurse I had didn’t really understand how difficult it was for me to be alone during my epidural and I wished she was just a little nicer as I’m new to all of this and no one can be in the room with you and it really freaked me out. Once being transferred from labor to upstairs things did change a few of the nurses were very rude and not very helpful not on the same page. Stacey and Wendy and Laura the lactation nurse were amazing I felt like they really cared and showed so much love and care for me and my babygirl. Diane the supervisor is very rude when I called to book a blood patch but other then that I would recommend Bellevue if you have already had children so you already know what’s going to happen etc !!!

As a worker for both Bellevue and ellis I can definitely say this is true.

They should still be able to help you get a new one.

Typically visiting hours are from 9 or 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with what they call quiet hours between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m..
Typically visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. With a break from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Which is considered quiet hours. When I had my daughter I did have family in with me during quiet hours though, but we remained as quiet as was possible so as not to disturb anyone else on the maternity floor.
Visiting hours are typically from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. however with quiet hours between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.. You can have visitors in with you so long as you are quiet and do not disturb other patients on the floor who may be trying to rest.
They are usually really good about setting up a tour of the facilities. I know that when I was doing my baby basics classes over at the mcclellan street campus of Ellis hospital, my class tour was scheduled for November 16th. because that was so close to my projected due date for my daughter however, we were allowed to go in and do our toour early just in case I was admitted by or before the time my class went and did the tour of the facilities. In the end though, I managed to make my class tour, being 9 months heavily pregnant. The running joke was if I went in to labor then the class would get 1st hand experience. Lol. They really are good though. Give them a call. What number are you trying? The main number?
I'm not 100% certain on this, although I do have medicaid as a secondary insurance myself. I believe they do except it. But please double check!
They do except Fidelis. Although I will say make sure and double check this because this happened with us, that things are coded properly or else you will receive plenty of calls from billing about setting up payment plans for services Fidelis claims they will not cover because of improper coding. All it takes is for the code to be redone correctly, and your issues will be dealt with. This is done on the provider end, correcting the coating. Not yours. But with Fidelis I do recommend keeping on them and on your provider if necessary.
At bellevue they do i think i know for a fact the social workers there will call cps on patients i wouldn't never have a baby there be careful
Yes I believe they do.
