Just visited today (less than an hour ago) to renew my passport on my day off. I was helped by a nice lady named Alma who seemed to be pleased to provide service whatever it was that I needed. She let me know that I had to complete the form by mail. But gave me the form, told me that the Walgreens passport photos I got weren’t acceptable (advised I get my money back) and retook them for me. Not only that, but when I told her I was afraid I would do something wrong on my own (I have a bit of anxiety) she offered to staple the photos and passport to the application form in the correct places, I didn’t have to ask her to, which was very sweet. Then she reminded me the things that are often forgotten on mail in forms (“Don’t forget to sign and date here”). The man who helped me with the ticket was nice also as I was visibly confused regarding where to go. I did not get his name! The environment was quiet and relaxed and probably the best experience I’ve ever had at any county clerks office! They should have a tip jar. When I got out, I had a parking ticket violation (didn’t realize where I parked was a handicapped spot) but the experience I just had made everything else today much less stressful! Being pleasant and not hating your job goes a long way! I would assume that other workers there are just as pleasant because it was just a pleasant place.

My wife, formerly Bonnie Cohn, has recently changed her name to Bonnie Vazquez and has received her new social security card. In order to accept her new name and get an enhanced license she needs her divorce papers which were finalized in November 2004 in Dutchess county. how can we get a copy to present to DMV
You can find this information at gis.dutchessny.gov/parcelaccess
No... you would get that from vital statistics of whichever city you were born
