We requested to file several appeals and weren't given anything to sign as we requested. I felt like we wasted our time going in, in person .a week later we get a letter in the mail saying that they were upholding their decision without us even being given the chance to prove why it had even been

The most unprofessional office I've ever dealt with in my entire life it's crazy that these are the types of people that decide whether you're disabled or not. this entire system has become one big political succubus , this isn't about anyone's health whether you're disabled or not it's whether the state thinks you deserve some help. it's literally like a popularity contest. I've been on hold with this local office since 10am it is now 12:19 noontime. These people do not care about us. Since I've been on my disability my worker has not spoke with me one time. then come to find out three years later she was not even competent enough to handle her job. Not one interaction in years after reaching out in the beginning almost on a monthly basis. And the quality of care in this area is non existent. Good luck finding any treatments locally where you can stick through the one program the entire time without switching to another. Just to find its the same all over town. One big political hack. its one big scheme. And this local office is basically a women's club these women up there are always joking about and taking long lunches but hey they are only in charge of your social security checks. No big deal

That would be total income coming in for you
Yes, you can get a new or replacement card here. Fill out the SS-5 form and bring supporting documents. I just went there yesterday trying to help a kid get a replacement card so he can join the Army. Thats what they told me.
Must go to your payee and see what the steps are. Sometimes they have you pay one bill for a month or more then add a bill to it until you are paying all the bills on your own. Sometimes you have to take a class as well
Yes
You must call. To get appointment and go there. I believe. Only they can tell you what they.need at this time. . They will answer questions. On the phone tho. For you.
Actually no you do not.
No appointment needed. At this time, they are accepting walk-ins for in-person service.
Changes should be done as soon as possible, gives them time to update information before checks go out
That is a question you would have to call and ask Social Security Administration 😄
Not sure , you would have to stop in to see , does Vermont not have a social security office , check with your state
Not sure , you may want to Google the Medicare phone number or try 1800medicare
Been there! You have to change it at SS first. DMV will turn you right around.
This is a classic scam aiming at your fear. Tell them NOTHING and hang up. The Social Secuity admin does not work this way. If you're fearful, visit the SSA offices and as k. Good, kind people will reassure you. Please, don't fall for this scam. Also, block the number if tou can.
When you go in person and get your number to be called , they will help you
License and birth certificate
The county office of the aging might be able to assist you also.
Go to your local social security office and they will order you a replacement card
Your number could be used by anyone! Bring a driver's license and birth certificate, they will order a new one for you
