My niece just arrived this week so I'm hopeful she will have a great experience. Some online access to information would be helpful. On our first call, she was trying to give me a list of supplies she can have, things she needs for work, etc. but has no way to email or fax it and I can't find a website let alone a list online. No doubt I didn't get everything written down. I do understand not letting the program participants have online access.

This place was a great opportunity for me. I was able to get an amazing job w a company and I'm still working there 2 and a half years later. For all that were there during my time, it is a a heavy heart that I inform those who haven't heard Jena Mason was taken from us. Her bubbly personality, and amazing smile will greatly be missed. Much live and prayers to her family and friends.

Yes, are you on the inmates mailing list? If not it's just a matter of applying which normally takes about three weeks for approval. Standards are different for work release vs incarcerated.
It's a women's facility where they go for the last 12-36 months of their sentence and yes they have jobs to go to.
On there doc page oor you can tell them to send you a visitation form
The program at Bradenton Bridge is a good program, but some of the staff should have closer and more thorough background checks. When I picked up personal property of a friend, someone, i.e., staff had gone through all the property and removed jewelry and money from the wallet. It's pretty bad when the staff has to steal property from inmates.
You can go to the Florida DOC website and search for an inmates name. If the individual is within the DOC system, the inmates name, number and location will be displayed. Lastly, you can phone the Florida DOC in Tallahassee and request the information, which is public information and should be covered by the Sunshine Law.
If you were approved at another institution your approval carries over. But, you will still have to go through being searched and limited to what you can wear or bring. Remember, this is still a prison, just a lower security situation.
Yes, I have been out 5yrs now, that program saved my life, taking what I learned, makes my life better on a daily basis
Write it out to the inmate, with the DOC #
Send a money order filled out completely and include their DC number
Not sure how much damage TBB has, but they are not back yet
