When a business consistently violates the law during it’s 30 or so years of operation, it deserves to be labeled a CRIMMINAL ENTERPRISE. Norlite operates with blatant disregard to the health of the people who live in this community. SHUT THEM DOWN!!

30 years of complaints and enforcement actions have failed to bring about meaningful control of the fugitive dust from Norlite’s facility and prevent it from escaping into the surrounding neighborhood. Independent tests reveal that the dust contains microscopic glass shards, and Norlite’s own Material Safety Data Sheets show that exposure to the dust can cause silicosis, a progressive, irreversible, and deadly lung disease.

HTF did this happen and go on for so long before it was noticed and it only got noticed because a citizen kept track of where the poison was being shipped

Like the kids and families living in and around this is horrible how the ppl get left in the dark. Bet this wouldn’t dare happen in Niskayuna, Clifton Park, the burbs but because it’s located in towns and cities where the poorest of poor live

This place is cleaner than a poultry plant. There is not run off from the plant everything is contained .
