I did two sleep studies (one at home, the other in situ) and never once actually talked to a doctor. The only thing they wanted to evaluate me for was CPAP. I told them several times that I was having issues with physically acting out wild dreams. It turns out this is called REM sleep disorder and indicates that the patient will develop Parkinson's. (I didn't find that out from them.) I consider failure to take the information I gave seriously to be close to malpractice. It's a sleep center. They're supposed to know symptoms associated with one of the nastiest diseases out there. I also never got to see a doctor before or after nor did they mail me a copy of the report.

The. Worst. It takes months for them to finally schedule your appointment. And then at that appointment, they just read you a form you filled out in the waiting room and tell you to come back in a few months. After that, they make you pay your copay to just stop by and pick up your equipment, then pay another copay to drop it off. It took months for them to order my CPAP and then they dragged their feet on my follow up and replacement equipment. Then, they don't even provide you with the equipment you need, that's done through a 3rd party. The communication between the sleep center and the equipment provider is at best "hopes and prayers". And I have to call and fight with the. On a weekly basis to just try and get the bare minimum. Don't worry though, it's only been over a year and I'm still waiting on my necessary equipment. I've had better service at a McDonalds drive thru during peak lunch rush, than I've ever gotten here.

I had a home sleep study done on Dec 17th 2021 and my follow-up was on 1/25/22. I called to see if I could move the consult up since I had a work conflict. I was told no. That was on 1/24/22 at 10:30 am. I have been having horrible ongoing breathing problems. I received a call back from the office on 1/24/22 @ 2 pm from a staff member that said one of the leads came off of my monitor and I would have to do the test again. But not until 2/4/22 and consult on the 14th. How unprofessional is this? I first should have been notified there was a problem and why does it take so long to have the consult following the sleep study? I thought Dr. Weiss was very concerned and compassionate but I don't think that is enough to make this an acceptable office.

Horrible staff, unfriendly and very rude!! I disliked Dr. Weiss tone, and felt very uncomfortable sleeping which I couldn't do. Do NOT go here! Annoying phone calls from Dr Weiss at times regarding the pain in the neck cpap I had to use, which I fought and sent back Michael Springer
