Location couldn't be better. You can walk to Birch Run by just crossing the street. Rooms were fine nothing fancy. Would be 5 stars, but there were no pool towels and no one ever checking on the pool area. My kids wanted to swim, but there was about 10 boys playing Dodgeball taking over the entire pool. We did enjoy the hot tub, but honestly booked for the pool. Holiday Inn was sold out and the other hotels said they didn't have a pool. We were excited to find the Country Inn with a pool. There should be a rule no kids without adults or something. I feel like if they had parents in there that wouldn't have happened, or maybe sign in and each room has an hour to swim. That would have been plenty for my girls. We waited 2 hours and then just went to our rooms for the night.

We went to our rooms us and another couple. The rooms smelt like smoke and musty. The manager was not friendly and sat our front smoking. The girls at the check in desk was amazing. The pool was very cloudy and we would not swim in it. The rooms we very tired. We checked out and got our money back. Went and stayed somewhere else.

The rooms were worn looking, carpet worn out and had burn marks and pulled threads, toilet leaked with trickling noise until you flicked the handle, the smell of chlorine from the pool permeated the entire building, doors slammed loudly and people yelled all day and night through the hallways, you could hear people stomping in the upper rooms, the smell of mold was strong in the bathroom with old caulk and black mold around the shower and tub. Breakfast was pretty good and staff were nice to us.

Needs to be updated. The bed sheets had chocolate smeared on them. We did tell the front desk and they changed it. However bathroom was very dirty with hair all over shower. Hot tub/pool area was crowded and grimey looking. The outlets would not hold the phone chargers in the wall, keep falling out. Breakfast food was okay, the woman that stocks the food was the nicest person there. Sorry, but will not be returning.
