20% gratuity included on dinner for 2. Beware of the fine print that says it “may” be included. It is definitely included. Took forever 2 get our order taken and then didn’t get our water/drinks refilled until we were leaving. All fine until you impose a mandatory $10 tip on 2 sushi roles which by the way have increased in price by 10%. 0 Stars. Here are a few reasons. Average sushi roll is 3 dollars more than any other sushi place in the area. Mr Wasabi is a much nicer place with much better prices and no mandatory tip. I asked that they let me adjust the tip and they said, no. Even after I stated that I would not go back if they enforced the tip. My wife went in a few weeks ago for take out and she waited 20 minutes before being helped and then didn’t get her food until 45 minutes total. This was on her lunch break from work. They have signs up that prices are going up due to costs but no other places in the area have increased prices or decreased serving sizes. This is a neighborhood place. I’d be surprised if they survive with the way they are doing business.

Terrible service due to being understaffed. Food was ok but not a very good value for price. Not many similar options nearby, but may be worth the drive to enjoy better food and service elsewhere…or just order takeout to avoid the long wait for dine-in service. One star because this isn’t cool…pretty ridiculous they added 20% tip on our bill for 3 people. Never notified us of this and I would have double tipped if I had not been paying attention. Beware.

The food is great but the service is terrible. Tonight was the second time I’ve had horrible service at this place. It was not a busy night we sat there for awhile with our menus closed before a waitress noticed us. She took our orders and every time came out at different times. About 10 mins after my friends entrees came out I asked about mine and was told “YEAH ITS COMING OUT NOW” like I was a nuance. I then watch the waitress 2 mins later put in my order and waited another 15. I ended up having to get it to go since I just wanted to leave at that point. This isn’t the first time I’ve waited a painfully long amount of time for food and had absent waitresses and it hasn’t been the only time my food was forgotten about either. The sad part is they don’t even apologize for forgetting to put in my order. They could careless. Sit at the bar if you dont want to wait an hour sautéed for vegetables on a slow night.
